Megyn Kelly makes incendiary allegation against Meghan Markle

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly said that Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle ‘killed’ Queen Elizabeth in wildly inflammatory comments on a recent episode of her podcast.

The former Fox News host, 54, made the outlandish claim while speaking on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ alongside Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy.

The two had been discussing Markle’s latest interview with Jamie Kern Lima on Lima’s podcast.

Portnoy had been explaining how he loved the Royal Family when Kelly butted in, saying: ‘Another thing, she killed The Queen.’

Portnoy chuckled at the suggestion before agreeing, saying: ‘She did kill The Queen.’

Kelly added shortly after their incendiary exchange: ‘She’s a bully, all the young women who worked for her quit in tears she wore them down, she was so nasty.

‘Then when she started her own company, similar reports were coming out from Montecito that nobody can work for her, she’s a nightmare behind the scenes.’

It’s not the first time that Kelly has made comments about Markle, as last year she slammed her after Markle labeled herself a feminist.

Speaking then, Kelly again brought up reports that Markle had caused young women to leave their posts after working with her.

‘The amount of staff she has chased out, all women. Her tantrums, her tirades,’ Kelly said at the time.

‘How is that in any way a feminist trying to lift up the young women? She wants to us believe that she would never and she only lifts up the young women.’

The comments come after DailyMail.com revealed this week that Markle still calls herself Her Royal Highness to her friends.

Markle sparked controversy after Lima shared a picture of a food hamper with a note that said ‘with the compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex’.

Although no legal documents were signed, Markle and Prince Harry had made an agreement with the late Queen that they would stop using the world ‘Royal’ and their HRH titles after they quit their duties.

A spokesman for the Sussexes insisted that they do not use HRH titles for commercial purposes.

Critics have said that the image of the note alongside organic ice cream and jam was a plug for Markle’s As Ever lifestyle range, while also promoting the podcast episode.

Appearing on Lima’s podcast, she said that the she and Harry had been ‘in the trenches’ when they first started dating.

She also opened up about her family life in Montecito, with Harry and their children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

She spoke of her relationship with Harry, saying she was more in love than she’s ever been before making a seemingly pointed remark that some have interpreted as a swipe at the Royals.

‘You have to imagine, at the beginning it’s all butterflies – but then we immediately went into the trenches together,’ she said.

‘Right out of the gate, like six months into dating. So now seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way. And that’s why I feel like it’s more of a honeymoon period for us now.’

Since officially leaving the Royal Family and moving to California in 2020, the Duke and Duchess have pursued a number of different avenues to bring in revenue.

This includes Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, which he authored as part of a $20million deal with Penguin Books.

The couple also teamed up with Netflix to produce a docuseries, with the streaming giant reportedly paying the pair $100million for the series.

Most recently, her As Ever bread launched a raspberry jam, priced at $14, which sold out in just a few minutes.
